Real Piel and Art
Material, Culture, Design
Real Piel stands out for its sensitivity in interpreting materials and placing them at the service of art, architecture, and design. By collaborating with studios, institutions, and private clients, the company develops projects that combine functionality and aesthetic value, bringing the quality of Italian leather and upholstery materials to prestigious public and private settings.
Every project stems from an ongoing dialogue between technical expertise and vision, where an in-depth knowledge of materials translates into bespoke, durable solutions that are consistent with the identity of each setting, making leather an integral part of the space.
A notable example is the project created for the Museo Civico di Bassano del Grappa, which involved the creation of a new permanent exhibition designed by architect Ravalli.
Real Piel developed a bespoke version of the Panka, adapted to the large scale of the space and precisely adjusted in height using custom-designed adjustable feet, allowing it to integrate seamlessly with the museum’s uneven floor.
UARP PROJECT
The Real Piel Workshop: Where Design Meets Art
UARP – Unique Art Real Piel is an exclusive Real Piel project that brings together selected artists to create unique design pieces.
These creations, while conceived as furnishing pieces, become true works of art, perfectly suited to Contract and Hospitality projects with dedicated art budgets.
This edition features artist Fabio Baggio, known as Bajo, who has transformed our OHR lounge armchair into a unique work of art, with customised shells that tell stories and evoke emotions through colour and form.
Real Piel and AreaArte
A collaboration to promote art, culture, and local heritage
A shared project to promote creativity, identity, and social cohesion by supporting cultural initiatives.
Real Piel has chosen to collaborate with AreaArte because it believes in the social and cultural value of art as a driving force for the development and well-being of the local community. This partnership reflects our vision of business: rooted in the community, committed to cultural growth, and driven by sustainable innovation.
AreaArte is a project dedicated to promoting and sharing culture and art, conceived as an active resource for the community and the local area. Created with the aim of generating value, interest, and social cohesion, it operates through the publication of a quarterly magazine, the organisation of cultural events and exhibitions, collaborations with artists, and initiatives aimed at promoting the local artistic heritage.
For Real Piel, the collaboration with AreaArte represents a concrete commitment to supporting culture as a shared value. It is not simply a sponsorship, but a desire to actively participate in a project that promotes creativity, dialogue, and the local community. Through this partnership, Real Piel contributes to the dissemination of cultural initiatives and to building connections between businesses, artists, and communities, based on the belief that investing in culture means fostering growth, awareness, and a sense of belonging.
